Giovanni Caboto Club Facilities and Operations

Set in richly decorated rooms with ornately designed wooden accents, the Giovanni Caboto Club boasts 100,000 sq. ft. of elegant and comfortable surroundings suited to accommodate the most prestigious community event to the smallest business meeting. The Caboto Club's nine distinctly unique banquet rooms feature modern décor with hard wood floors and fully operational bars equipped with audio-visual systems. Offering numerous sizes of banquet rooms, southwestern Ontario's largest and oldest Italian club plays host to a variety of events throughout the year including weddings, showers, concerts, trade exhibitions, charity galas, banquets, conferences and business meetings and can accommodate up to 3,000 people at any given time with its expert staff.

Our Gourmet Cuisine

Prepared by trained kitchen staff within one of our Club's two full service kitchen facilities, the cuisine served to our guests is of the highest quality in freshness and taste. We use only the finest and freshest ingredients to create recipes bursting with flavour. Guests can choose from a vast selection of menu items ranging from seafood to meat dishes, dessert, pasta, antipastos and soup selections. Special services include vegetarian meals, wine and cheese services, specialized menus, breakfast menus, sweet tables and fruit and pastry platters.

Our Customer Support

Attention to detail is second to none regardless of the event size. Whether we're servicing 1000 people at a function or 15 at a more intimate gathering, we want our guests to be content when they leave our facilities. Upon selecting the Caboto Club for your next occasion, our knowledgeable staff will assist you in planning menus, room layouts, service details, and also provide suggestions in regard to music, local florists and other arrangements. Choose from a variety of packages or design your own celebration with the help of our friendly professional staff.

We pride ourselves in being customer-oriented - your experience with the Caboto Club will be a pleasant one from beginning to end. Our philosophy to customer service means the room of your choice will be ready upon your arrival. Our facilities are prepared with the floor plan and equipment you've requested, the food and beverage items you've asked for and the service you expect. Janitorial and re-set staff are on duty 24 hours a day to ensure every banquet room is prepared for future guests.
The facility features an 850-vehicle parking lot to accommodate cars or buses with two convenient entrances, Parent Ave. and Tecumseh Ave. To accommodate trade shows and large events, an elevator lift is attached to the east side of the facility to allow vehicles drive-in access to the largest banquet room for ease of transporting equipment.

Our Italian Culture

We incorporate our rich Italian heritage throughout the facility by such examples as a library/archive stocked with Italian reading material, four bocci courts, homemade Italian cuisine, and through the subtle Italian-themed décor that is featured in some rooms. The main foyer of the Club features a grand entrance that proudly displays the club's heritage with beautiful landscaping and a wall sculpture in honour of great Italian explorer Giovanni Caboto. The rotunda is the centerpiece of the main foyer with its painted depictions of several successful Italian leaders throughout history. The club's magnificent exterior is accented with a statue of Giovanni Caboto to commemorate the 500th anniversary of his landing in Canada.

Our Membership

In addition to offering several banquet rooms, we are a service club that provides amenities to its members. Our recreation area features four indoor bocci courts, a newly renovated and expanded fitness room, racquetball and squash courts and mens' and ladies' change rooms with saunas and showers. Open to the public is a full service bar/lounge set in rich wooden décor with televisions and pool tables and an authentic pizzeria with amazing pies prepared by an expert from Italy.

The Club is open 360 days a year to proudly service the members and residents of the Windsor-Essex County region.
